Terms of Use

By using WavPost you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Users between 13 and 18 may only use WavPost with verified parental or guardian consent.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. WavPost accounts are personal — one account per individual or legal entity.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use WavPost solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the WavPost API or service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated scripts or bots to circumvent rate limits or API quotas
• Use WavPost to build a competing social media scheduling or publishing product
• Harvest or scrape data from WavPost beyond your own account data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure

You are solely responsible for all content you publish through WavPost. You agree not to use WavPost to post or transmit:

- Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive content
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Content promoting illegal activity, violence, or terrorism
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any such use will be reported to authorities immediately
• Content that violates the terms of service of the connected social media platforms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through WavPost. By using our service, you grant WavPost a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to transmit, cache, and process your content solely to deliver the service.

You acknowledge that:
• WavPost acts as a technical relay — we are not responsible for how connected platforms receive, display, or moderate your content
• Delivery errors may occur due to platform API changes, rate limits, or outages outside our control
• You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with the terms and community standards of each platform you post to

WavPost integrates with third-party social platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of these platforms.

Your use of connected platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. WavPost is not liable for:
• Account suspensions or bans imposed by third-party platforms
• Changes to third-party APIs that affect WavPost functionality
• Loss of access tokens due to platform-side revocation

You are responsible for maintaining compliance with the terms of each platform you connect.

WavPost operates on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed per API action (post, analytics fetch, etc.) according to the pricing schedule displayed on the billing page.

Billing: Credits are purchased upfront. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance that resets on your billing date.

Renewals: Monthly plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds: All payments are generally non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for:
• Unused credits remaining at the end of a billing period
• Credits consumed before account termination
• Service disruptions caused by third-party platform outages
• Violations of these Terms resulting in account termination

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at billing@wavpost.com within 14 days of the charge.

All aspects of the WavPost service — including its software, design, logo, documentation, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to WavPost and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of WavPost without our prior written consent. Feedback and suggestions you provide may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.

WavPost is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:
• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• Content will be delivered correctly or on time to all connected platforms
• The service will be free from security vulnerabilities

Use of WavPost is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WavPost's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of:

- The total amount you paid to WavPost in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
• $100 USD

WavPost is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, reputational harm, or damages resulting from content delivery errors or cross-posting to unintended platforms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WavPost, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- Your use of the service in violation of these Terms
• Content you publish through WavPost
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

You may cancel your account at any time from the billing page. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

WavPost may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or posed a risk to other users or the integrity of the service.

Upon termination, your OAuth tokens will be revoked and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@wavpost.com. We will try to resolve disputes within 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of WavPost after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree with updated Terms, you must stop using WavPost and cancel your account before the effective date.
